| My Experience John P. Cito is an independent financial advisor, a Certified Senior
Advisor, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. He works with Matrimonial
Lawyers and Mediators as well as individuals in the process of getting divorced.
As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, John looks at the
asset division of a proposed divorce settlement in the future sense. What appears to be
fair and equal today in a settlement may not be five or ten years from now. Then it is too
late. Many proposed divorce settlements do not take into consideration factors such as
inflation, taxes, increases in the cost of living, etc. John shows his clients how careful
planning before and after the divorce can help them become financially fit long after the
marriage has ended. By implementing a strategy using mathematics and logic, John then
helps his post-divorce clients by designing portfolios that never run out of money, never
lose money, increase monthly income (if needed) and reduce the tax liability.
John P. Cito began his career over 20 years ago with a
major Wall Street firm and in 1986, opened his own firm. He now has offices in Hackensack,
NJ and Bethlehem, PA. John is a member of the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts,
the Association for Divorce Financial Analysts, and the Financial Divorce Association. He
has written numerous articles on financial issues pertaining to pre- and post-divorce
planning and is listed in the Peer Recommended Professionals section of Divorce
Magazine. |
